Actor Suriya is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming Tamil film Kanguva. Scheduled to release on November 14, the film is written and directed by filmmaker Siruthai Siva. Recently, in an interview with a video channel, Siruthai Siva opened up about the sequel of Kanguva which has been planned by the team.

Siruthai Siva will be joining hands with actor for the first time with upcoming Kanguva. The film is slated for a release on November 14. In an interview, Siruthai Siva spoke about the sequel of the film which has been confirmed earlier and how it was a planned decision to do a second part from the beginning.

When asked if the plans to make Kanguva 2 came in between, or was there from the start, he said, "Since the beginning, when the story was written, it paved way for the sequel beautifully. It is a mystical action emotional film and mystery usually gives beautiful knots for the story, and similarly, this story gave a perfect lead for the second part and we used that.” The plans for Kanguva 2 have not yet been chalked out by the makers, who are awaiting the first part to release and gather its reception.

Kanguva is slated to hit theatres on November 14 and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it global. With a release in around 3500 screens, the film is planned to hit theatres in eight languages, including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, English, French, and Spanish. The team is planning to recreate Suriya’s voice in every language, using advanced AI technology.

Besides Suriya, the film also stars Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu and others in prominent roles. Actor and Suriya’s brother Karthi is also expected to make an appearance in the film. National Film Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for the film.
