As the world eagerly anticipates the release of tentpole movies across industries, the Hindi film industry recently saw a major reshuffling of multiple films initially set for an August 15, 2024 release. One of the films that vacated this date and moved to a later one was Rohit Shetty's highly anticipated ensemble drama Singham Again. The fourth film in the Singham franchise, and an addition to Shetty's expanding cop universe, this movie is led by Ajay Devgn and features an ensemble cast, including some new faces from the cop universe. The film was rescheduled for a Diwali 2024 release, and recent reports suggested it might be delayed beyond that date. However, it turns out these rumors were unfounded, and the film remains on track for its Diwali release. 

Singham Again Not Delayed

Mounted on a massive scale, Singham Again stars Ajay Devgn alongside Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and more. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film was previously pushed from its August 15 release date to Diwali 2024. Recent rumors suggested that the movie might not be ready by Diwali and could be pushed further. However, trade expert Taran Adarsh has now refuted these claims. Read on to learn more.

In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Taran Adarsh debunked the rumors that Singham Again would be delayed beyond Diwali 2024. The trade analyst confirmed that the film will hit theaters during Diwali 2024, with the exact release date to be announced soon. Additionally, he confirmed that the film's shoot is complete and it is now in post-production. The team is set to begin promotions in October 2024.

The post read, "DON'T BELIEVE RUMOURS: 'SINGHAM AGAIN' CONFIRMED FOR DIWALI... The rumor mills are working overtime... #SinghamAgain is NOT getting postponed... Arriving this #Diwali [exact release date will be announced soon]. Shoot complete. Post-production work is going on in full swing. Full-fledged promotions start in Oct 2024.”

Rohit Shetty on Singham Again

Back when Singham Again was announced, Rohit Shetty shared glimpses from the muhurat pooja on September 16 last year. He said, “Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, Sooryavanshi... 12 years ago, when we made Singham, we never thought that it would turn into a Cop Universe! Today, we begin filming Singham Again... the 5th film in our cop franchise. ISME HUM APNI JAAN LAGA DENGE! BAS AAPKE PYAAR AUR DUA KI ZAROORAT HAI!” (We will give it our best, just need your love and blessings!)
