Rohit Shetty's upcoming directorial Singham Again has been gaining a lot of attention ever since it was announced. The film features a stellar cast of Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Tiger Shroff. The film is aiming for a November 1 release. Ahead of it, the latest report revealed the release date of the film's much-awaited trailer. 

Trailer release date of Singham Again

As per Bollywood Hungama, the trailer of Singham Again will be released on October 7. The report mentioned that an event has been planned to unveil the trailer in the presence of the actors.

“The trailer of Singham Again will be launched at the sprawling Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre located in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. It’s a 2000-seater auditorium and not just media but even fans of Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff will also be invited. The trailer is the most awaited of the year and the makers have made sure that even the trailer launch will be the biggest event of 2024," the source added. 

Another source informed the portal that Singham Again is a very grand film and hence, the makers also want to make sure that the trailer should also be something big. The trailer content along with the headline grabbing event will make sure that the hype for the film and India’s first cop universe will increase drastically.

Rohit Shetty on Making Singham Again

As per Hindustan Times, Rohit Shetty once said that he was inspired by Salman Khan's Wanted to create the Cop Universe and added, “Tell you what, I made Singham because of Wanted. That was a phase when multiplexes had come in. It was 2009, I was making All The Best. PVR had just opened up, and at that time, nobody was making mass action films. Wanted was an underdog that came out.”

He added that the time has come back to make mass entertainers because even in multiplexes now, people are cheering and whistling.

Singham Again on OTT

The revelation about Amazon Prime Video bagging the rights for Singham Again was revealed at a press conference earlier in March this year. Meanwhile, Singham Again is the third installment in the cop universe created by Rohit Shetty and a sequel to Singham Returns (2014).
