Rohit Shetty's police drama, Singham Again, represents the third instalment in his highly successful Singham franchise. The film premiered in theatres on November 1, coinciding with the release of Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office. Despite receiving mixed reviews, Singham Again performed well commercially. Featuring prominent actors such as Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Jackie Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff in leading roles, the film is currently available for streaming on an OTT platform.

Singham Again out on OTT

On Thursday, December 26, Amazon Prime Video announced via Instagram the release of a poster for Singham Again, showcasing Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and Deepika Padukone, along with the date for its OTT debut. 

The accompanying caption stated, “Brace yourselves for the lion’s roar.” The film is scheduled to premiere on the OTT platform on December 27.

The film initially landed on Amazon Prime Video On December 13 but was on rent and one needed to purchase it to enjoy Rohit Shetty's directorial. 

Singham Again's ensemble cast

Singham Again draws inspiration from the Ramayana. The film features Ranveer Singh portraying Simmba, Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham, Kareena Kapoor Khan in the role of Goddess Sita (Avni Kamat), Akshay Kumar as Jatayu (Veer Sooryavanshi), Deepika Padukone as Shaktu Shetty (Lady Singham), Tiger Shroff as Lakshman (ACP Satya), and Arjun Kapoor as Raavan (Danger Lanka).

Rohit Shetty opens up about Singham Again Box Office

Regarding the box office performance of Singham Again, Rohit Shetty informed the Indian Express that he has already shifted his focus to his upcoming project. "Indeed, we are pleased, but our thoughts have transitioned to work mode," stated the director.

When questioned about whether he and Ajay Devgn refrain from celebrating their achievements, Ajay responded, "I believe we would not even leave our home if it were not for work or family obligations. That is our form of relaxation."

Inspired by the Ramayana, the film depicts DCP Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn) and his team as they journey to Sri Lanka to confront an antagonist and rescue his wife, Avni (Kareena Kapoor Khan).
