Sikandar has already made Rs. 165 crore, which means it has recouped 80% of its production costs. According to Pinkvilla, the film is expected to bring in between Rs. 85 crore and Rs. 100 crore from digital rights after its theatrical run. It will be available on Netflix after hitting theaters, and the earnings from digital rights will depend on how well Sikandar performs at the box office. The satellite rights were sold for Rs. 50 crore, while the music rights fetched Rs. 30 crore. All of this adds up to a total recovery of Rs. 165 crore, covering 80% of the budget.

Sikandar was created with a budget of Rs. 200 crore. The film's production expenses are Rs. 180 crore, and there’s an extra Rs. 20 crore for other costs, bringing the total budget to Rs. 200 crore.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar features a talented cast including Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, Sharman Joshi, and Sathyaraj, alongside Salman and Rashmika. The film is set to hit theaters on Eid. In a unique move, Sikandar will premiere on Sunday, March 30, rather than the usual Friday release on March 28. This marks the first time Salman has made such a decision in his career, and there's a good reason behind it. He wants the film's release to coincide closely with Eid, which falls on March 31 this year during Ramadan. The movie is produced by Salman’s friend Sajid Nadiadwala, who previously worked with him on Kick.
