Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna are now shooting for a song in Mumbai. They are in Mumbai's Goregaon grounds, and the track is about a festival the duo celebrates with slum-dwellers. The song is nearly wrapped up and details on the next schedule are out as well. Here's what we know so far...
Recreating the slums of Dharavi in Goregaon for the Sikandar song
AR Murugadoss made sure that the slums of Dharavi are replicated at Goregaon's SRFP grounds. The same was reported by Mid-Day on September 3. This was to ensure that the song portrays Salman and Rashmika's characters celebrating a festival with the slum dwellers.

The song from Sikandar features 200 background dancers. It is confirmed that Rashmika joined the sets on Thursday and Salman stepped in around the same time. They started shooting for the song since and are almost wrapping it up now.
Salman is seen in a full-sleeve shirt with a black vest, denims, earrings and even a silver chain for the song. Rashmika, on the other hand, went with the classic salwar kameez.
Sikandar next schedule
The source confirmed that Murugadoss has wrapped up the shooting of the song and will start shooting more action scenes over the weekend. They will take place in Mumbai itself and will continue till October.
Two more romantic tracks from the film will be shot in Europe. However, that will happen towards the year-end (November-December). Kajal Aggarwal joined the sets recently, and the film also stars Sathyaraj.
What is Sikandar all about?
Sikandar is the story about a ruthless businessman (played by Salman Khan) who has a change of heart after seeing corruption in the industry. He can be described as a ‘compassionate philanthropist’ meeting Robinhood Pandey.
The shoot for the movie began in June. Unfortunately, Salman suffered a rib injury on sets, but hasn’t stopped shooting for the film anyway. Sikandar will release in theatres on Eid 2025, following which Salman plans to entertain his fans through Tiger vs Pathaan, featuring him in a face-off with Shah Rukh Khan in what would be the next film from YRF Spy Universe after WAR 2 (and probably Alpha).
