Salman Khan provided an additional preview of the world of Sikandar on Thursday, which is anticipated to be an exhilarating action experience. The actor released the second teaser of his forthcoming film on social media platforms.

On Thursday, Salman unveiled yet another teaser for his forthcoming film on social media platforms, including Instagram and X (previously known as Twitter).

The teaser, lasting one minute and 21 seconds, begins with a compelling introduction to Salman's character. With a touch of nostalgia, he reveals that his grandmother gave him the name Sikander, while his grandfather selected Sanjay. “Aur pragya ne rajasahab (And people called me raja),” he remarked.

The teaser subsequently shifts into exhilarating action sequences, highlighting Salman in his quintessential larger-than-life persona. With his characteristic confidence, he single-handedly overcomes numerous foes, effortlessly neutralizing them with a barrage of punches and kicks. The action is set against a variety of backdrops, ranging from rugged outdoor landscapes to the interior of an aircraft.

The teaser is replete with memorable one-liners such as “Kayde mein raho fayde mein rahoge” and “Insaaf nahi hisab karne aaya hun.” Additionally, it features Rashmika Mandanna as his romantic interest, along with elements of dance and music.

Last year, the initial teaser for Sikander was released. In the one-minute and forty-one-second clip, Salman enters a room filled with weapons and individuals clad in samurai armour. It becomes apparent that he has stumbled into a trap, as he remarks, “Suna hain ki bohot saare log mere peeche pade hain. Bas, meri mudne ki der hain.” 

Earlier this month, Salman revealed a new poster for Sikandar, which ignited considerable conversation on social media. The poster depicts Salman attempting to evade an attack from a sharp object, with his intense gaze prominently featured against a striking red background. Many social media users have noted a notable similarity between the Sikandar poster and that of Jacqueline Fernandez's 2020 film, Mrs. Serial Killer.

About the film

Salman's Sikandar is set to premiere in theaters on Eid 2025. The film is helmed by AR Murugadoss, renowned for his work in Tamil and Hindi cinema, including titles such as Ghajini, Thuppakki, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, and Sarkar. The cast features Kajal Aggarwal and Rashmika Mandanna alongside Salman. Reports suggest that Salman will showcase a fresh appearance in this project. Details regarding the film's storyline remain undisclosed. The production is supported by Sajid Nadiadwala's company, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
