Sidharth Malhotra's movie sets for Param Sundari are definitely going to brighten up your Sunday. He kicked off filming in the beautiful backwaters of Kerala and shared an amazing view on his Instagram story. It's absolutely stunning! He captioned the video with 'Namaskaram Kerala.'

Param Sundari is a fascinating topic

Directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, Param Sundari tells a love story between a North Indian guy and a South Indian girl. This film is set to deliver a touching narrative as these two very different cultures collide and chemistry ignites. Filmed in the beautiful backdrop of Kerala, the shooting has kicked off there. Expect a mix of comedy and unexpected twists in Param Sundari.

Dinesh Vijan refers to Param Sundari as a nod to Mani Ratnam

Dinesh Vijan previously likened the movie to the works of Mani Ratnam, especially pointing out the connection to Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukerji's Saathiya. He mentioned to Variety that the dynamic between Sidharth's North Indian character and Janhvi's South Indian character is "really interesting." He added, "It’s kind of like taking Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (the film with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon) to the next level - there’s a modern twist to it. But we’re also diving into a bit of the Kantara vibe - pushing the boundaries a bit more." His comments have sparked a lot of curiosity about what Param Sundari has in store for us, especially since both films have their own dedicated fanbases, making it a bit tricky to picture a North Indian boy and South Indian girl storyline.

Param Sundari is set to hit theaters on July 25, following Janhvi's role in Devara - Part 1 and Sidharth Malhotra's Yodha.
