Jack is the latest film featuring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, which hit theaters on April 10, 2025. Unfortunately, from the very first screening, the buzz around this action comedy has been negative. Both critics and viewers have heavily criticized the movie. On top of that, its opening day earnings were disappointing, with Jack raking in just Rs 4 crore globally.

Jack trips at the ticket counter

It's surprising to see that Jack's occupancy has dropped by over 50% across all its release locations. The actor from Krishna and his Leela has a solid fan base, and many expected Jack to perform well at the box office thanks to Siddhu's star appeal, but that hasn't been the case at all. The morning shows on the second day have seen very low attendance, and with the weekend here and Monday being a holiday, it'll be interesting to see how much Jack manages to earn at the box office.

Bommarillu Bhaskar faces criticism over Jack

The creators are already in a good spot thanks to their OTT agreement. Siddhu's successful movie, DJ Tillu, remains one of the top hits on OTT platforms and continues to trend on Aha even now. Directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, the film lacks genuine emotion and comes off as quite silly. People are really giving him a hard time for producing such a poor film.

Jack stars Vaishnavi Chaitanya, known for her role in Baby, as the female lead, and her performance has been under scrutiny. Prakash Raj also plays a significant role in the film, which revolves around a man determined to become a RAW agent at any cost. The plot follows his journey as he begins his investigation and proves his dedication to the agency.

Produced on a grand scale by BVSN Prasad, the film seems poised to lead to substantial losses for distributors. Meanwhile, Siddhu Jonnalagadda is set to appear in a romantic comedy called Telusu Kada, directed by the well-known fashion designer Neeraja Kona. The shooting for this film is nearly complete, and the release date will be announced soon. As for Jack, its second-day box office collections are expected to be quite disappointing.
