Shriya Pilgaonkar made her Bollywood debut in 2016 alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the film Fan, and since then, she has emerged as a significant talent in the OTT landscape. Director Maneesh Sharma selected her from a pool of 750 auditions for her role.

Shriya Pilgaonkar's early acting career
Pilgaonkar began her acting journey at the tender age of five, making her television debut in the Hindi series Tu Tu Main Main as a character named Bittu. In 2012, she made her stage debut with Freedom Of Love, a 10-minute short play directed by Karan Shetty, which was showcased at the NCPA as part of its Short and Sweet Festival.
