Shrinking Season 2 trailer: Jason Segel and Harrison Ford continue to navigate through personal and professional issues

Jimmy Laird (Jason Segel), the therapist with the unconventional and unethical practice methods, is back to do what he thinks he does best – therapy. His school of therapy, which his patients call ‘Jimmying’, where he tells them exactly what he thinks of their situations, without sugar-coating it or attempting to make them feel better, continues to be a major element of the narrative, while his colleague, Paul (Ford) tries to get him to stick to conventional methods.
In Season 2, Jimmy is still far from over the death of his wife, but realizes that his daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell) is genuinely worried about him. Paul, on the other hand, has his Parkinsons diagnosis and budding romance with his neurologist, Dr Julie (Wendie Malick) to deal with, besides trying to ensure Jimmy stays on track as far as possible.
Season 2 returns to Apple TV+ on October 17 with a two-episode drop, followed by weekly episodic releases. Segel joins Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein and Bill Lawrence as show creators. Goldstein has a special appearance in the 12-episode show that will go on until December 25. The series also stars Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie and Ted McGinley.
Also returning for a second season on the streamer are shows like Severance, Silo and Bad Sisters. Following Shrinking in October, Bad Sisters and Silo will begin streaming on November 13 and November 15 respectively. Severance Season 2 will drop only on June 17. New shows like Blitz and Disclaimer are also headed to the streamer shortly.
