Punjabi star Gippy Grewal is back to entertain with another gripping family drama Punjabi film. His film Shinda Shinda No Papa is all set to make its OTT premiere on Chaupal. It also marks the Punjabi film debut of actress Hina Khan. Directed by Amarpreet GS Chhabra, the movie was released in May this year and is now inching closer to its digital premiere this Diwali. The Gippy Grewal and Hina Khan-starrer Shinda Shinda No Papa is a family comedy that will soon be streaming on Chaupal. The makers announced the digital premiere update today, October 27 with a fun video post on social media. The heartwarming family comedy-drama film will take you on a wild ride this Diwali as it is set to stream on October 31. Apart from Chaupal, you will be able to watch the film on OTTplay Premium.

Plot
The movie is set in Canada and India and follows a Punjabi couple whose mischievous son (Shinda) creates chaos in their lives. However, things take a turn when the family moves to India. The changing dynamics in the two countries and their cultural differences offer a unique spin to the plot. Will Gopi find a way to discipline his naughty son? In the teaser, we are introduced to Shinda with a childhood flashback where we meet the little troublemaker. The title also has a stark comparison with the English poem “Johny Johny Yes Papa” but the only difference is that here our lead Shinda just enjoys saying “no” and is very difficult to tackle.

Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal leads the family drama as he plays the titular character’s father, Gopi. Hina Khan steps into the Punabi cinema by playing Gippy’s onscreen wife and Shinda’s mother, Nikki. Child actor Shinda Grewal plays the title role.
The star-studded ensemble cast also stars Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Jaswinder Bhalla, Nirmal Rishi, Raghveer Boli, Seema Kaushal, and Hardeep Gill in pivotal supporting roles.
