Jio Cinema is all set to bring a thrilling detective series 'Shekhar Home'. The show, which is directed by Rohan Sippy and Srijit Mukherjee stars Kay Kay Menon, Rasika Dugal, Ranvir Shorey, and Kirti Kulhari in the lead roles. As the show is gearing up for its release, the makers have now dropped an exciting promo featuring Kirti.

In the promo, Kirti Kulhari is seen revealing that the audiences will get to know about a big mystery on August 14, which is also the release date of the show. The caption on the video, which is shared by Kirti as well as the streamer reads: "A criminal mastermind with a deadly motive - M has come back for #ShekharHome Discover her plan in #ShekharHome, streaming August 14th onwards only on JioCinema Premium."

The thriller show is an original work of fiction that is inspired by the works of the noted British writer Arthur Conan Doyle. Earlier, while talking about the show, Kay Kay Menon, who plays the titular role in the show said, "The series isn't just about solving crimes—it's also about exploring human nature in all its aspects- from love and loyalty to betrayal and deceit. Playing Shekhar was a pure delight. I’m excited to bring Shekhar to all of you,” the 57-year-old actor said in a statement.

How many episodes will be there in Shekhar Homes?

The series consists of six episodes and is set in the early 1990s in the tranquil town of Lonpur, Bengal. 

When and where to watch Shekhar Homes?

Shekhar Homes will be streaming on Jio Cinema on August 14. Directed by Rohan Sippy and Srijit Mukherjee, the show is produced by BBC Studios Productions India. It features Kay Kay Menon, Rasika Dugal, Ranvir Shorey, and Kirti Kulhari in the lead roles.
