Aadi Saikumar, known for his role in the successful film Burra Katha, is the son of the iconic actor Sai Kumar. Although he has been in the film industry for quite a while, he hasn't yet achieved a major hit in his career. Nevertheless, Aadi continues to take on multiple projects. One of his recent films is Shanmukha, a cop drama that premiered on March 21, 2025, but unfortunately, it didn't perform well at the box office.

As for the OTT release, Aha has secured the digital rights to Shanmukha for a substantial amount. The film is set to be available for streaming on April 11, 2025. This deal provides some relief for the filmmakers, given the film's lackluster box office performance.

In Shanmukha, Avika Gor stars as the female lead, and she was last seen in the JioHotstar series Vadhuvu alongside Ali Reza. Aadi Saikumar plays the role of a cop and delivers a commendable performance. Previously, he portrayed a police officer in the web series Puli Meka, which was well-received. However, in Shanmukha, his character is more mature and distinct, showcasing his acting skills effectively.

Shanmukha tells the story of a man with six heads who practices black magic, causing chaos throughout the city. The plot revolves around a cop, portrayed by Aadi, who sets out to capture him. The film features a soundtrack by MA Mallik, and his background music received a warm reception from viewers. The second half is packed with thrilling moments that are executed exceptionally well, and the director's approach during this part of the film is impressive.
