Shahid Kapoor's movie Deva has officially cleared the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and received a U/A rating. What's intriguing is that the board decided to cut six seconds from a lip-lock scene in the film. With these adjustments finalized, Deva is set to hit theaters on January 31. The Deva lip-lock scene has been modified

Deva had a quick lip-lock moment that only lasted a few seconds, but it got cut from the final version. Bollywood Hungama reports that six seconds of that scene were removed, and that's just the first tweak recommended by the CBFC.

A changed offensive gesture

Shahid Kapoor really brings the heat when he goes all out on screen. But the CBFC isn't letting this one slide. There's a questionable gesture in Deva that got tweaked for a wider audience.

Swear words swapped out

Deva has a habit of using some pretty harsh language, and the board wasn't too happy about it. So, they've swapped those words out for softer ones. You’ll see the same changes in the subtitles as well.

Deva execution environment

Rosshan Andrrews' Deva features Pooja Hegde, Kubbra Sait, and Pavail Gulati. It has received a U/A certificate after some suggested changes. The film now runs for 2 hours, 36 minutes, and 59 seconds. Other Shahid Kapoor films that came out with a similar nearly three-hour length are Kabir Singh, Jersey, and Rangoon.

Deva's conclusion is still shrouded in mystery

It just came out that the creators filmed multiple endings—at least three—for Shahid Kapoor’s Deva, and no one on set knows which one will actually make it into the movie. Each of the three endings features a different killer in Deva. Only Shahid, Rosshan, and a few important people know which ending ended up in the final version.
