Deva Box Office Collection Day 7: The trajectory of Shahid Kapoor's film Deva has been unfortunate, as it began with a promising reception but quickly lost momentum within just a few days. As time has passed, the film's box office collections have significantly declined, raising concerns regarding its overall earnings and longevity in theatres. On the seventh day, Deva has failed to surpass the ₹2 crore threshold, a figure it has consistently struggled to achieve in recent days. This situation has raised alarms for the directorial debut of Rosshan Andrrews, especially with formidable competition looming, including a significant challenge scheduled for next Friday.

Starring Shahid Kapoor, Deva is an action-oriented cop thriller that represents the Hindi debut of Rosshan Andrrews, who is recognized for the Malayalam success of Mumbai Police, from which this film is adapted. After a week in theatres, the outlook appears bleak. The collections on day 7 remain low, hindering the film from reaching the ₹30 crore milestone, which is concerning.

According to Sacnilk, Deva has garnered merely ₹1.50 crore at the domestic box office on its seventh day. The cumulative collection in India now totals ₹28.15 crore. The Hindi occupancy rate on Thursday was recorded at 6.70%, with morning shows at 4.47%, afternoon shows at 6.31%, and evening shows at 6.99%.

Deva has successfully concluded its first week in theatres, managing to endure despite facing significant competition. The film initially went head-to-head with Sky Force, featuring Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, which continued to perform admirably. Starting today, it will also contend with Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar. Nevertheless, the most formidable challenge awaits next week with the release of Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava. The anticipation surrounding Chhaava is substantial, and should Deva not maintain its momentum, it may find it difficult to remain in cinemas.
