However, insiders close to Sukumar have dismissed these claims. A member of his team stated, "Sukumar sir is busy with several projects as a producer and is also directing Ram Charan’s upcoming film. His schedule is full for the next two years. His trip to Mumbai was just for personal reasons, and the rumors about a collaboration with SRK are not true."

Shah Rukh Khan, a major figure in Indian cinema, teamed up with South Indian director Atlee for the blockbuster Jawan. This success sparked rumors that SRK, who was impressed by Sukumar's direction in Pushpa, was keen to work with him.
