Shah Rukh Khan doesn't go Salman Khan way, shares Jawan promo for fans in Japan

Shah Rukh Khan had a back-to-back surprise for his fans when he made his acting comeback in 2023. After Pathaan, the actor gave Bollywood's biggest blockbuster, Jawan. The movie became the highest-grossing Bollywood film post-COVID, thus breaking all records. The movie is now scheduled to be released in theatres in Japan. Given the fanbase that SRK enjoys across the globe, can the superstar break Box Office records in Japan as well? Well, here's everything we know about the film's release...

Jawan to release in Japan, will it be dubbed in Japanese?

Jawan is scheduled to release in theatres in Japan. SRK shared the news on his social media accounts to confirm the release date. Alongside, he shared a teaser from his movie. The teaser did not hint at the film releasing in Japanese per se. So, it appears that the English version of Jawan will be released in Japan.

When will Jawan release in Japan?

Jawan is scheduled for November 29 release. The teaser and SRK's caption both confirmed the same. While the teaser had the date 11.29 (Month-Date format), SRK's caption with the teaser read, "#Jawan arrives in Japan on 29th November!"

Jawan not going Salman Khan's Tiger 3 way in promotions

Salman Khan left a message for his Japanese fans when his film Tiger 3 was scheduled to release in Japan. While he spoke in English, the video had Japanese subtitles for the fans. SRK, however, did not follow suit. He released the teaser with the Japanese title.

Can Jawan score at the Box Office in Japan too?

Jawan became the highest-grossing Bollywood movie in India but was beaten by Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao's Stree 2 recently. With its Japan release, it would be interesting to see if Jawan can still set a new record in a foreign country. Directed by Atlee, Jawan has Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, but also Nayanthara, Priyamani and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. Given how Japan has already showered love on a non-Hindi film like RRR, we believe Jawan could also be a success out there. But what do you think? Do let us know.
