Mikey Madison is about to hit a new career high with her first time hosting SNL, right after winning Best Actress at the 2025 Academy Awards for her role in Anora, which also snagged Best Picture that night. There's a chance that Studio 8H might give Sarah Sherman's scrapped "Anora Menorah" sketch, which aired during Madison's appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, a chance to make a comeback.

If everything goes smoothly, Morgan Wallen will be the musical guest for the night. He was initially set to make his SNL debut back in October 2020, but after some viral videos surfaced of him partying without a mask and ignoring social distancing, he was replaced by Jack White and pushed to December instead.

Jack Black is set to host Saturday Night Live on the first Saturday of April 2025, right after the premiere of his latest video game film, A Minecraft Movie. This will mark his fourth time hosting and his first appearance in two decades.

Even though Black's band, Tenacious D, won't be performing, the audience at Studio 8H can still look forward to a special performance by Elton John and Brandi Carlile that night. Elton John's title track from his Disney+ documentary, Elton John: Never Too Late, has snagged him a nomination for the Best Original Song Oscar. Brandi Carlile also made an appearance at SNL50: The Homecoming Concert.

It's hard to believe that Jon Hamm has only hosted Saturday Night Live three times, and even more surprising that his last official appearance was fourteen years ago. However, he made several hilarious cameos on the show as recently as May 2024. His new Apple TV series, You Friends and Neighbours, is set to premiere the night before he makes his return to Studio 8H.

On that same night, Lizzo, who interestingly starred alongside last week's host, Jack Black, in a quirky episode of Season 3's The Mandalorian, will be making her fourth appearance on Saturday Night Live as a musical guest. In 2022, the talented pop star and flute player not only made her hosting debut but also performed as a musical guest for the second time.
