Sarfira box office collection Day 3: Akshay Kumar starrer Sarfira took a slow start at the box office by collecting 2.50 crore. The film saw more than 70% spike on Saturday and now even on Sunday, the film maintained its performance and stood solid at the box office. However, the performance of the film is still not considered exceptionally well given the budget of the film, which is around Rs 100 crore.

Sarfira Box Office Update

As per early reports on the estimated box office collection of Sarfira by Sacnilk, the film witnessed a 20 per cent increase in the Sunday collection. The movie minted around 5.1 crore, taking the total to 12.1 crore. The film saw an occupancy of 9.47 per cent on its third day for morning shows but the footfall from the afternoon increased. The film has an overall occupancy of 26.46 per cent in Hindi.

For the uninitiated, Sarfira is Akshay Kumar's 150th film. The film is a Hindi remake of the National Award-winning movie Soorarai Pottru starring Suriya.

Earlier, Suriya's wife and actress Jyothika thanked Khiladi Kumar for choosing Sarfira and revealed her admiration for the actor revealing she is his longtime fan. She shared a picture with the actor on her Instagram and wrote: "Best wishes Akshay Kumar for the most deserving success and a heart-touching performance. From a fangirl with a poster of yours in her bedroom to becoming a producer for your special 150th film...truly a moment etched in time for me."
