Meanwhile, in Meenakshi Sundareshwar, she gets a kick out of playing mind games and is a huge fan of movies, especially those with the legendary Rajinikanth.

Besides the well-known cast, Mrs really focuses on how a family evaluates a bride through her cooking abilities. It's pretty much a dealbreaker for the wedding. In Meenakshi Sundareshwar, the long-distance aspect created a significant gap in the otherwise loving relationship.

Nishant Dahiya and Sanya Malhotra lead the cast in Mrs, a ZEE5 original film that explores a woman's unfulfilled dreams after marrying a middle-class doctor and becoming a housewife, a role she never intended to take on. The film is produced by Baweja Studios and directed by Arati Kadav, featuring notable performances from Kanwaljit Singh, Aparna Ghoshal, Mrinal Kulkarni, and Nitya Moyal. The release date for Mrs is still under wraps.

In 2021, Meenakshi Sundareshwar told the story of two South Indians who enter into an arranged marriage, but unlike Mrs, it focuses on North Indian families. Starring Abhimanyu Dassani, this Netflix film received a mix of reviews. While the chemistry between Sanya and Abhimanyu was highlighted, some viewers found the pacing of the film, directed by Vivek Soni, to be off. Despite facing some backlash from Tamil audiences, the movie managed to snag a few awards along the way.
