Sankranthiki Vasthunnam two weeks box office collections

On the 14th and 15th days of its release, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam generated ₹3 crore and ₹2.7 crore, respectively. These figures indicate a commendable performance at the box office.

As the other films released during Sankranthi 2025 have experienced a significant decline in momentum, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has revitalized its appeal. The producers have also taken measures to keep the film in the public eye, attracting audiences to theaters for this family-oriented drama.

Anil Ravipudi, the creative force behind the film, presented a compelling narrative that resonated with viewers. Umesh Limaye, who had a brief appearance in Animal, played a significant role in Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. The hit songs composed by Bheems Ceciroleo further enhanced the film's attractiveness.

Thandel to pose a threat to Sankranthiki Vasthunnam

Venkatesh has made a significant return with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam following the considerable disappointment of his previous film, Saindhav. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, Saindhav premiered during Sankranthi 2024, a time that was not conducive to the success of darker-themed films. In contrast, Venkatesh approached the production of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam with careful planning, diligently working to secure its success. His comedic performance stood out as a key feature, captivating audiences universally.

Telugu audiences have finally been presented with a wholesome and engaging family drama after a considerable hiatus. Producer Dil Raju, who experienced financial setbacks with Game Changer, has now successfully tripled his investment with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam.

This film is set to encounter competition from Naga Chaitanya's Thandel, which is scheduled for release on February 7, 2025. It will be interesting to observe the total box office collection of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam by the conclusion of its theatrical run.
