Sankranthiki Vasthunnam stands as Venkatesh's most successful film to date, having established new benchmarks at the box office. Zee5 has secured the digital rights to the film for an impressive ₹30 crore, resulting in substantial profits for the producers.

Details regarding the film's final collection indicate that Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is set to stream on Zee5 starting March 1, 2025, generating considerable anticipation for its OTT debut. Notably, the film will also have its television premiere on the same date.

With its theatrical run now complete, the latest reports reveal that Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has garnered an extraordinary ₹184 crore in worldwide share thus far. This achievement is particularly remarkable given that the film was not dubbed into any other regional languages. Accumulating a gross of ₹300 crore solely in Telugu is a significant accomplishment, underscoring the film's tremendous success at the box office.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film's triumph can be attributed to his skill in providing wholesome entertainment and popular music, which attracted a substantial audience to theatres. Sankranthiki Vasthunnam premiered on January 14, 2025, as a special release for Sankranthi, eclipsing other films such as Daaku Maharaaj and Game Changer.

Dil Raju reaps significant profits from Sankranthiki Vasthunnam  

Producer Dil Raju, who experienced considerable losses with Game Changer, found a measure of relief and recouped a notable portion of his investment thanks to the success of this Venkatesh-led project. Additionally, Zee5 is optimistic about high viewership for Sankranthiki Vasthunnam in the near future, as the film's humour and dialogue make it appealing for repeat viewings.
