Sanjay Dutt has joined the cast of a major Tollywood film

Sanjay Dutt is officially on board for a significant role in Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2, as we recently reported at OTTplay. He’ll be hitting the film sets soon! But wait, there’s more—after Akhanda 2, Dutt has also signed on for another Telugu movie called Sambarala Yeti Gattu, which stars the popular Sai Dharam Tej.

This project was announced a few months back, and Sai Tej’s rugged look from the film went viral. The filmmakers have now confirmed Dutt’s involvement. Director Rohit met with him in Hyderabad recently to share the script.

Here’s the scoop on Sambarala Yeti Gattu

It seems that the Khalnayak star was really taken with his character and quickly agreed to take on the role. There's also talk in the industry that the producers sweetened the deal with a big paycheck, which likely helped him decide to join the project.

Sambarala Yeti Gattu is a mystical thriller that creates its own unique universe. With a whopping ₹100 crore budget, the main filming is happening on impressive sets at Ramoji Film City. Word has it that Dutt only needs to film for two weeks, and then his part will be done.

Aishwarya Lekshmi takes the spotlight as the leading lady in the film. Right now, they’re filming a high-octane action scene, and Sanjay Dutt is set to come on board shortly. Even though his first Telugu film, Double iSmart, didn’t do well, Dutt is really making a name for himself in Tollywood. Keep an eye out for more news!
