Featuring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane in the principal roles, this film has garnered a devoted following, making it one of the most cherished titles on satellite television. Fans passionately advocated for its theatrical return, and following a strong opening weekend, Sanam Teri Kasam is poised for a robust performance on Monday, leading up to an even more significant Valentine's Day.

Box Office Forecast for Sanam Teri Kasam  

The film has demonstrated outstanding performance, outpacing two new releases as well as two re-releases at the box office. Based on current trends, Sanam Teri Kasam is projected to generate between ₹2-3 crore at the domestic box office on Monday (Day 4). Should the evening screenings attract a substantial audience, the earnings may increase further, maintaining strong momentum as Valentine's Day approaches.

As reported by Sacnilk, on Day 3, Sanam Teri Kasam achieved earnings of approximately ₹6-6.25 crore. The film garnered ₹5.25 crore on Day 2, following an opening day collection of ₹4.25 crore. This results in a cumulative total of ₹15.50 crore at the Indian box office, already surpassing its original lifetime revenue—a noteworthy accomplishment. Furthermore, it has outperformed other films, including Interstellar, Loveyapa, Badass Ravi Kumar, and Padmaavat.

Is Sanam Teri Kasam 2 Happening?

As audiences gather in theatres to watch Sanam Teri Kasam, the excitement for a sequel is on the rise. In Ratlam, a group of viewers mistakenly believed that Sanam Teri Kasam 2 had premiered, only to discover it was merely a re-release of the 2016 film. However, is a sequel truly in development?

Indeed, it is. In September of the previous year, actor Harshvardhan Rane and producer Deepak Mukut announced that Sanam Teri Kasam 2 is officially in production. They shared a photograph of themselves with the script, captioning it: "Sanam Teri Kasam 2 is officially happening! Following the epic love story of the original film, we are returning with even more! Stay tuned for updates! #SanamTeriKasam2."

There has yet to be any confirmation regarding Mawra Hocane's potential return. Her character meets a definitive end in the initial film, and the prevailing tensions between India and Pakistan have significantly hindered the ability of Pakistani actors to participate in Indian cinema. An update concerning the female lead remains pending.
