After Atlee made a dashing debut in Bollywood with Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, he instantly grabbed all the headlines for his amazing work. Reports about the director joining hands with Salman Khan for a massive pan-India project have been doing rounds on the internet for quite some time now. The reports also suggest that the project will be a two-hero saga and Atlee wanted Tamil Superstar Kamal Haasan to join the team. Here's the latest update on the film!
Salman Khan and Kamal Haasan come together for an action film?
Sun Pictures will produce the high-budget action extravaganza and the latest update is that Atlee is currently in discussions with Salman Khan and Kamal Haasan, promising a never-before-seen spectacle with an impactful cast. If the latest reports are to be believed, the script of the film has been finalised.
As per Peepinmoon's report, a source close to the development revealed that since last year Atlee and Salman Khan have been discussing the possible collaboration. When Atlee pitched the actor about the two-hero film, the momentum around the film picked up rapidly. The source also revealed that Salman was intrigued by this idea and asked the Jawan director to develop a full script before their further discussions.
"It all took place roughly three months ago. Cut to a few weeks ago, Atlee narrated the script to Salman, and he found it so compelling that he immediately gave his approval. Salman and Atlee are formally collaborating, and this is going to be a complete madness,” the source revealed.
It is further reported that as soon as Kamal Haasan gives a nod to the project, the pre-production will start, mostly by October. The film is said to go on the floors by 2025. After wrapping AR Murugadoss' Sikander and his cameo in Varun Dhawan's Baby John, Salman will start working on the project.
An official announcement on the same is awaited!
