Director Ashwath Marimuthu, who made his directorial debut with "Oh My Kadavule," is preparing for the release of his second film, "Dragon," featuring actor and filmmaker Ashwath Marimuthu. The film is scheduled to premiere on February 21.

Attention is also focused on his upcoming project, STR 51, in collaboration with Silambarasan. Although a title has not yet been revealed, it is known that the actor will portray the God of Love in this fantasy entertainer directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. Accordingly, STR 51 will also adhere to this principle of being a family-oriented film.

STR 51 is designed to appeal to audiences of all ages. As a fantasy film, it inherently caters to children. With the inclusion of STR, the film is also accessible to a broader audience, featuring elements of romance. This is similarly true for the character of Dragon, as noted by Ashwath.

STR 51 is a commercial fantasy entertainer in which Silambarasan portrays the God of Love. The film aims to revive the golden era of Silambarasan's career and is set to be released in the summer of 2026.

Ashwath and Pradeep Rangananthan’s Dragon to release

Ashwath is currently anticipating the release of the film Dragon, a project he has worked on in collaboration with his longtime friend Pradeep Ranganathan. The cast includes notable figures such as KS Ravi Kumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Vj Siddhu, Harshath Khan, Anupama Parameshwaran, Kayadu Lohar, Mariam George, Indhumathy Manigandan, Thenappan, among others.

Dragon is scheduled to premiere on February 21 and will be available for streaming on Netflix following its theatrical release. The film has been produced by AGS Entertainment.
