SS Rajamouli, the celebrated filmmaker is all set to team up with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, for his next directorial venture. The project, which marks the popular actor’s 29th outing in cinema, has been tentatively titled SSMB29. Even though the makers have not made an official announcement on the film yet, some interesting speculations on the SSMB29 star cast and crew have been doing rounds for quite some time. Interestingly, now the rumour mills suggest that the project’s official title is almost finalised.

Is this the title of Mahesh Babu-SS Rajamouli’s SSMS29?

If the recent updates are to be believed, SS Rajamouli has finalised the title of his ambitious film, which marks his first onscreen collaboration with Mahesh Babu. Even though the makers have not announced the title of the film, a recent update from TP Vijayan, the Visual Development Artist who is currently working with the Baahubali director for SSMB29, left the netizens intrigued. In the picture, the crew member shared the picture of a pair of golden eagle wings props. Meanwhile, a throwback video of Rajamouli, in which he speaks about one of his dream projects named 'Garuda', is now going viral. 

Now, the rumourmills suggest that the Mahesh Babu starrer could be the same project, and might get titled 'Garuda'. Meanwhile, some cinephiles also suggest that the SS Rajamouli directorial might consist of mythological and fantasy elements that connect to Garuda, the big which has been considered the ‘Vahana’ of Lord Vishnu. Even though the reports on the same have been doing rounds on social media for quite some time now, the SSMB29 team has not reacted to the same.

Mahesh Babu’s look in SSMB29

Meanwhile, leading man Mahesh Babu, who was recently spotted at the airport, was seen flaunting a long hairdo, thick beard, and a muscular physique. As per the reports, the Telugu superstar has already kickstarted both the acting workshops and physical training, for SS Rajamouli’s film. As reported earlier, the director has appointed Nassar, the veteran actor as the tutor of the Pokiri actor. Nassar is expected to provide special workshops for the popular actor, to help him learn a new dialect and its nuances, and the articulation of words.
