Nithiin was once a bankable star in Telugu cinema, but a string of flops has hindered his career. Now, he has teamed up with his favorite director, Venky Kudumula, for an action-comedy titled Robinhood. Produced by the makers of Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers, Robinhood has been in the making for the last two years.
Nithiin's Robinhood teaser review
Today, the makers finally released the first-look teaser, and it looks impressive. Whether it's the story or the comedy, everything works well in the teaser. Nithiin is showcased as the Robinhood who steals money from the rich. The young hero looks handsome, and his comic timing is also spot on.
Venky Kudumula, known for his successful comedy in recent films, has once again lived up to expectations. The comedy in the promo looks very entertaining. Sreeleela makes a comeback after a break, and she looks lovely in the film. Rajendra Prasad is also seen in the movie, along with Mime Gopi, who plays the main villain.
After a long gap, Nithin is seen in a fun role, and his action sequences are also impressive. Robinhood is a typical commercial entertainer, but the story feels fresh and generates interest right from the start. The small gags and mass moments have been executed well by the director.
This is the second time Nithiin has teamed up with Venky Kudumula. Their previous collaboration, Bheeshma, was a massive hit at the box office. This time, they have come up with a fun concept centered around robbery, and how it ties into the story will only be known when the film is released.
GV Prakash has composed the music for Robinhood, and his background score is peppy, with vibrant visuals to match. With the teaser, the makers also announced that Robinhood will hit the screens on December 25, 2024.
This comes as a surprise, as the makers initially planned to release Robinhood in January 2025, as a Sankranthi special. However, they have advanced the release date, and the promo has lived up to all the hype. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
