About Rising Impact

Rising Impact is the adaptation from a popular Japanese manga by Nakaba Suzuki, which ran from 1998 till 2002. There are 17 volumes published of the manga, and it released on a weekly basis. The anime, though, releases all the episodes at once and is expected to do the same even this time around. The making of the anime began in December 2023 and within half a month i.e. by June 2024, the show was ready for release, and is now coming with a second season.

Rising Impact (also a term in golf) is the story of a youngling named Gawain Nanaumi who lives in the interiors of Tokyo, but is interested in Sports. A visitor, Yumiko Koizumi, grabs his attention by playing golf. It took that one moment for Gawain to make his decision - that he wants to excel at golf. Thus, he heads out to practice the sport under Yumiko's guidance and make his grandfather proud. Rising Impact is about the challenges that Gawain faces while trying to be a pro golfer, and how he overcomes them all with his life experiences.
