Retro runtime and censorship locked

Suriya, who recently experienced a significant setback with Kanguva, is now preparing for the launch of his upcoming film. Named Retro, this movie is expected to be a romantic action drama and marks the actor's first partnership with director Karthik Subbaraj, known for his impressive debut with Pizza.

Retro is set to hit theaters on May 1. The film has passed its censor checks and will have a runtime of two hours and 48 minutes. It has been awarded a U/A certificate by the censor board. A censor certificate that has circulated widely on social media indicates that the film will contain violent scenes.

Karthik Subbaraj mentioned that Retro is his most commercially appealing film since Petta, which featured Rajinikanth as the main character. The cast of Retro includes Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Jayaram, Nassar, Prakash Raj, and Karunakaran in key roles. Santhosh Narayanan is responsible for the music, while Shreyaas Krishna handles the cinematography. The editing is done by Shafique Mohamed Ali.
