Actor Dhanush, renowned for his exceptional acting skills demonstrated in numerous successful films, has recently taken on the role of director for his third project, titled Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, abbreviated as NEEK. The film premiered in theaters in February and is now poised for release on a streaming platform. Prime Video has acquired the OTT rights, and Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is scheduled to debut on March 21.

Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam is a romantic drama aimed at the youth of the Gen Z generation. The cast comprises a blend of emerging and novice actors, including Pavish Narayan, Anikha Surendran, Matthew Thomas, Priya Prakash Varrier, Rabiya Khatoon, Ramya Ranganathan, and Venkatesh Menon, alongside seasoned performers such as Sarathkumar, Naren, and Saranya Ponvannan. The musical score is composed by GV Prakash, with Dhanush producing the film under the banner of Wunderbar Films.

The narrative centers on two young lovers who part ways for various reasons. When the girl extends an invitation to the boy for her wedding, it triggers a chain of events. The film's conclusion suggests the possibility of a sequel.

Which is next Dhanush film to release?

Currently, Dhanush is engaged in his fourth directorial project, titled Idly Kadai, in which he will also take on the lead role. The film is scheduled for release on April 10; however, there are rumors that it may be delayed due to the simultaneous release of Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly on the same date.
