Rekhachithram storyline and cast details

Rekhachithram marks Jofin T. Chacko's second time in the director's chair, following his work on The Priest featuring Mammootty. In this 2025 film, he takes a unique spin on history to tell the story. It focuses on a woman who disappeared while they were shooting Mammootty's film Kaathodu Kaathoram back in 1985.

The movie includes not just Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan, but also features Manoj K Jayan, Siddique, Jagadish, Harisree Ashokan, Indrans, and Saikumar.

Rekhachithram marks Asif Ali's first film of the year. Anaswara, meanwhile, was in Ennu Swantham Punyalan, which hit theaters on January 10. That film also had Arjun Ashokan and Balu Varghese in the cast. The young actress is also set to appear in Painkili with Sajin Gopu, which is expected to come out in February 2025.
