The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film, Rekhachithram, have dropped another poster today (September 29). The main actor, Asif Ali, is seen seated at a desk surrounded by filming equipment while dressed as a police officer in the latest poster. The cast and crew of the film revealed the second poster on social media, featuring Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan in the lead roles.

This film, which is being funded by Venu Kunnappilly and Anto Joseph under the auspices of Kavya Film Company and Ann Mega Media, is directed by Jofin T Chacko. More details regarding the plot and the release date should be expected in the next few days.

Rekhachithram: Latest updates

The movie looks like an investigative horror thriller, based on the first poster. While the actor is unmistakably a police officer, Anaswara is dressed as a nun with a ghostly appearance. It makes sense to believe that the Thalavan star's character is looking into the nun's death. The producers have unveiled the poster along with the whole cast of the film, which wrapped up filming in July. Zarin Shihab, Bhama, Siddique, Indrans, Harisree Ashokan, Megha Thomas, and Manoj K Jayan will all have important roles in Rekhachithram.

Social media users started to see updates about Rekhachithram following the release of the first poster. According to recent sources, the film is based on a 1980s-set investigation. The film's editor, Shameer Muhammad, also disclosed that Rekhachithram will feature an AI character in an interview with a media source. The story for the movie was written by the director and Ramu Sunil.
