Sankranthiki Vasthunnam clocks record collections

The film featuring Venkatesh has successfully completed 13 days in theaters, amassing an impressive ₹10 crore on a significant Sunday. This figure represents the highest earnings recorded after the initial week of release, underscoring the film's status as a major success. Consequently, the total worldwide net collections have exceeded ₹160 crore, with projections indicating that the family drama may reach the prestigious ₹300 crore threshold by tomorrow.

This achievement marks Venkatesh's most successful film to date, as none of his earlier projects have surpassed the ₹100 crore benchmark. Clearly elated, Venkatesh was in high spirits during the success celebration event held in Bheemavaram last night.

During his address at the event, Venkatesh remarked, "Whenever I consider moving on to a new project, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam sets yet another record." He attributed the film's extraordinary success to director Anil Ravipudi. The two have previously collaborated on three films, all of which have been significant hits.

Sankranthiki Vasthunnam OTT rights details

Zee5 has secured the OTT rights for a notable ₹30 crore and is set to begin streaming the film in the second week of February 2025. Producer Dil Raju, who developed Sankranthiki Vasthunnam with a budget of ₹60 crore, is reportedly poised to earn threefold profits.

The music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo has also been a significant highlight, with popular songs enhancing the film's global appeal. Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh played pivotal roles in the movie, which has significantly outperformed other Sankranthi releases, such as Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj.
