Hotstar is set to launch a new series titled Kobali. This crime drama, which has been in development for an extended period, is finally ready to premiere. The creators have recently unveiled the trailer, which appears to be quite compelling. They have also announced that Kobali will be available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar starting February 4, 2025.

The series is set in the context of Rayalaseema and delves into the effects of hate crimes and caste-based politics on families in the area. The trailer opens with a voiceover by Ravi Prakash, who portrays the lead character, establishing a powerful and intense atmosphere for the series. Although the majority of the cast is relatively inexperienced, the striking visuals leave a strong impression.

Directed by Revanth Levaka, Kobali is a crime-revenge thriller featuring Syamala, Rocky Singh, Venkat, Tarun Rohith, Dr. Bharath Reddy, Yog Khatri, Gaddam Naveen, Sagar Majji, and Manikanta. Anchor Syamala makes her return after a significant hiatus, and the snippets of her performance in the trailer indicate a strong and dynamic portrayal.

Despite its modest budget, the drama appears to be quite intense. For Ravi Prakash, this series marks a pivotal moment in his career as he transitions from supporting roles in films to his inaugural lead role in Kobali. The project seems to hold considerable promise for him.

The music, composed by Gowra Hari, enhances the series' gritty and intense ambiance. Rohit Bachu has handled the cinematography, effectively capturing the raw essence of the narrative. Produced by Jyothi Meghavath Rathod, Raja Sekhar Reddy Kammireddy, and Tirupati Srinivasa Rao, Kobali is anticipated to be a distinctive addition to the faction genre, according to the creators.
