In 2024, he made headlines with the unexpected news of his divorce from Aarti Ravi. However, Tamil actor Ravi Mohan has since moved forward and focused on his film career. The latest buzz is that he’s gearing up to step into the director's chair for a new movie featuring comedian Yogi Babu.

Sources say that Ravi Mohan will be producing the movie under his own banner, marking his debut in production. The film featuring Yogi Babu is set to be a family-friendly comedy. Since Ravi is currently involved in Sivakarthikeyan’s Parashakti and Karate Babu, filming for this project is expected to start either late this year or early next year.

In a chat with an online media back in September 2024, Ravi Mohan, previously known as Jayam Ravi, shared his aspirations to produce and direct films. He expressed, “I want to create a movie with my son Aarav and introduce him to the world of cinema at the right moment. That’s my dream. When I acted alongside him in Tik Tik Tik six years ago, I mentioned during the success celebration that it was the happiest day of my life. I’m looking forward to experiencing that joy again.”

He also mentioned, “I’m not in a hurry to sign on to new projects anymore. I plan to take my time selecting scripts and really developing them before heading into production. Things are going to change from here on out.”

It seems like one of the new paths he’s exploring is making his directorial debut. With his interest in collaborating with Aarav, it raises the question of whether he’ll be involved in the upcoming Yogi Babu film.
