Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Rautu Ka Raaz is currently streaming on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium. The film, which was released on 28th June was directed by Anand Surapur. The murder mystery is set in the backdrop of a small village in Tehri Garhwal in Uttarakhand. The makers are making sure to keep the buzz around the film by releasing interesting promos and posters from the film even after the film has completed almost a month after its release.

Today, on July 27, the makers took to their social media accounts and shared a new promo from the film where we can see villagers talking about Nawazuddin's character SHO Deepak Negi. While describing him, the man says, that although he is very smart, he also seems to be a weird person. Sharing the promo, the streamer wrote in the caption: "Tez aur ajeeb ka unique combination was made for SHO Deepak Negi! #RautuKaRaaz streaming now, only on #ZEE5"

Earlier, in an interview with India Today, Nawazuddin Siddiqui talked about signing a simple film like Rautu Ka Raaz. He said, he wants to break the stereotype of a murder mystery and calls it a 'different' film than others and hence it is his film. He further added, "Humare aksar dimaag me ata hai ki murder mystery hai toh bahot action hoga, violence hoga, larger-than-life hoga. Hum log ka kaam hai mould ko break karma (We are used to seeing murder mysteries as these big dramas with larger-than-life action and violence happening. It's my job to break that mould)."

Meanwhile, Rautu Ka Raaz is a gripping story with a complex plot with a power-packed performance by Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Inspector Deepak Negi. Along with him, the film also stars Rajesh Kumar as Naresh Dimri and Atul Tiwari as Tanuj Mehra in the pivotal roles. The film is backed by Zee Studios and Phat Phish Records.
