It is just a day to go for Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Rautu Ka Raaz release, and the actor has already given us a reminder of what is to come. A new promo released by the makers gives us more insight into what we can expect from the upcoming film. This time, we see more than just Deepak Negi in the promo.

Beyond Deepak Negi

While Deepak Negi has been the highlight throughout Rautu Ka Raaz promotions, we now see more character. Rajesh Kumar’s sub-inspector Naresh Dimri asks who called the Police Control Room to inform about the school warden’s death. School trustee Manoj Kesari (Atul Tiwari) says he knows the late warden since she joined the school. That is when Negi deciphers he would know a lot about her.

Deepak Negi shines

We then hear a voice stating that he wanted his Rs. 20 lakhs. Negi questions if that is the motive for murdering her. He then turns to Dimri and hints at slapping him. “Dimri, zara chamka isko,” Negi says.

Another complains to Adhikari that Negi is crossing all limits and visiting them every alternate day. A woman then talks to Negi about a video which she sent him.

Dimri looks at the video, and believes that the murder was carefully planned. But he also believes that the woman watches a lot of crime shows.

Negi is then seen talking to his senior about how the case needs proper investigation. As he dives deep, Negi feels that something is missing and that is a big link in the case.

About Rautu Ka Raaz

15 years after living in peace and harmony, there’s a murder in Rautu. Villagers refuse to believe so but are cautious on hearing the word murder. There’s a lot of gossip, and most of all, it is about Negi. He is a great cop, pronounced super cop, but there sure is a lot more to him.

Not just Nawazuddin, the film features a few other known faces like Rajesh Kumar, Atul Tiwari and Narayani Shastri. Rautu Ka Raaz, initially titled Rautu Ki Beli, is a direct-to-OTT release. The movie will be out on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium. It will be available for streaming from June 28.
