After the suspense of Rautu Ka Raaz was unveiled, the makers are now slowly taking us into the world where the murder took place and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Deepak Negi got into action. They have now shared a dialogue poster featuring the actor. This poster gives you more details about what Siddiqui’s character really is.

In the poster shared by the makers, we see Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a police uniform. He is waiting for someone while being frozen in the moment. The poster also gives you some insight into his character. It reads, “Arey woh hai na apna Deepak Negi, police wala, bahut tez hai woh, ajeeb bhi hai!”

Who is Deepak Negi?

Rautu Ka Raaz trailer also gave us an insight into Inspector Deepak Negi. He is someone who is most determined in the team of Uttarakhand Police. However, Negi is someone who thinks about his team as well (it’s still confusing whether he does, but we’d like to believe he does).

Negi is actually stationed in Mussorie’s Rautu Ki Beli village. There has never been a case of murder here, so when something like that is suspected, people think the police might have lost their mind. But Negi wants to get to the root of the case. He believes that there’s some respect associated with Uttarakhand Police and thus, they should do their job.

He also figures that the only way to find out about the murder is to see beyond the obvious and look for what is hidden. Although Negi is determined about his work, he is also not very bothered by people around him. He could ask a fellow colleague to continue eating in the middle of the murder investigation, or get furious when woken up from sleep because a small lead was found.

When and where to watch Rautu Ka Raaz

Rautu Ka Raaz, initially titled Rautu Ki Beli, is a direct-to-OTT release. The movie will be out on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium. It will be available for streaming from June 28.
