Nawazuddin Siddiqui's movie, Rautu Ka Raaz, recently had its digital premiere. Directed by Anand Surapur, the film was released on ZEE5 as well as OTTplay Premium on June 28. The movie is about a warden's murder Rautu Ki Beli (Uttarakhand), a place which has been crime-free for several years. Within three days of its release on the streaming platform, Rautu Ka Raaz has achieved a signifciant milestone. 

Rautu Ka Raaz clocks 100M+ watch minutes!

ZEE5 shared an update about Rautu Ka Raaz's achievement on Instagram. While updating the good news on the gram, the streamer revealed that Nawazuddin Siddiqui's movie recorded 100 million + views on the platform. If you haven't seen this post yet, check it out right below:

The caption to the IG post read, "100Mn+ watch minutes say it all - This raaz is irresistible! RautuKaRaaz streaming now, only on ZEE5 (sic)." In Anand Surpaur's movie, Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the role of SHO Deepak Negi, who is assigned to solve a warden's murder case in Rautu Ki Beli. 

Divulging details about his character in Rautu Ka Raaz, Nawazuddin earlier told The Hindu, "He is suffering from a personal trauma because of which he doesn’t sleep properly and behaves awkwardly during the investigation. There is a name for the condition."

Meanwhile, the star cast of Rautu Ka Raaz also includes Rajesh Kumar, Narayani Shastri, and Atul Tiwari. As per the streaming platform, the synopsis of the movie is "the sleepy valley at Rautu, in Mussoorie, wakes up to the murder of a school warden. Inspector Negi and his team get pulled into the case amidst chaos, questions, and scandals."
