ZEE5 is set to release its forthcoming satirical thriller film, Hisaab Barabar, on January 24. The film, which is both written and directed by Ashwni Dhir, features R. Madhavan in the principal role. The storyline revolves around Madhavan's character as he uncovers a significant banking fraud. In anticipation of the release, the creators have unveiled a new character, Monalisa Yadav, portrayed by Rashami Desai.

Rashami Desai joins Hisaab Barabar's cast

On January 17, ZEE5 announced via their official Instagram account the release of a poster for Hisaab Barabar, showcasing Rashami Desai, who has joined the cast in the role of Monalisa Yadav. In R. Madhavan's film, Rashami will portray multiple characters, including a babysitter and caretaker, always prepared to assist others. The poster features her with a gentle expression and a smile. Accompanying the image is the phrase, "Not your ordinary neighbour."

In the trailer, R. Madhavan plays the role of Radhe Mohan Sharma, a diligent and principled civil servant known for his attention to detail and integrity. As a ticker checker, he is especially mindful of his financial matters. When a colleague approached him to assist with filing an income tax return, Sharma was initially reluctant, emphasizing that he was not a chartered accountant. Nevertheless, he consented to provide assistance, leading to the revelation of the bank's fraudulent activities, which totaled Rs. 2400 crore.

The trailer's tagline states, “The system is about to tremble, and scammers will be fearful. Now, an ordinary individual will restore balance.”

Regarding Hisaab Barabar, Madhavan expressed his excitement, saying, "I am truly delighted to be involved in Hisaab Barabar, my inaugural project with ZEE5! Portraying Radhe Mohan Sharma has been an enjoyable challenge; he is an everyday person placed in an extraordinary scenario, and the experiences he encounters are nothing less than a thrilling ride."

Additionally, Hisaab Barabar features notable performances from Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kirti Kulhari, Rashami Desai, Sukumar Tudu, and Sachin Viddrrohi in significant roles. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Sharad Patel, and Shreyanshi Patel.

Hisaab Barabar is set to premiere on ZEE5 on January 24.
