Hanumankind, the remarkable artist transitioning from rap to singing, alongside esteemed Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap, is poised to appear together on screen shortly. The much-anticipated action-drama film, Rifle Club, directed by Aashiq Abu, will showcase both the actor-singer and the director of Gangs Of Wasseypur in significant roles. This film marks Hanumankind's debut in acting as well as his entry into the Malayalam film industry, while also representing Anurag Kashyap's first venture into Malayalam cinema.
Hanumankind and Anurag Kashyap's Rifle Club to premiere before Christmas
As previously reported, Rifle Club, under the direction of Aashiq Abu, is set for a theatrical release on December 19, 2024. This eagerly awaited film will be the first Malayalam release of the Christmas 2024 season. Hanumankind will be making his acting and Malayalam cinema debut in this project, portraying the character Bheera. The film boasts an extensive ensemble cast, while Anurag Kashyap takes on the role of the primary antagonist, Dayanand Bare.

The film, directed by Aashiq Abu, features a screenplay co-written by Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Karunakaran, and Suhas. In addition to Hanumankind and Anurag Kashyap, Rifle Club includes a stellar cast comprising Dileesh Pothan, Unnimaya Prasad, Darshana Rajendran, Vijaya Raghavan, Suresh Krishna, Vani Viswanath, Ponnamma Babu, Surabhi Lakshmi, among others, in key roles. The music and original score are composed by ex Vijayan, while Aashiq Abu himself oversees the cinematography, with editing by V Saajan.

Prior to the release of Rifle Club, Hanumankind has recently garnered significant attention with his music video for Squid Game 2, titled ‘The Game Don’t Stop’. The acclaimed singer-rapper is collaborating with skilled Indian artists Kalmi and Parimal Shais for this special track, which is currently captivating both music lovers and film aficionados. For those unfamiliar, Squid Game Season 2, the highly anticipated follow-up to the renowned Korean drama, is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on December 26, 2024.
