Ranveer Singh has been the man of the headlines for a while now. Be it his multiple movies that he is confirmed to be a part of (including Don 3) and even more that he is speculated to be doing. Also, in his latest outing with his wife Deepika Padukone, who made a public appearance after a long while with a baby bump, Singh is making headlines for everything. But this morning he was in the news for not a happy reason because the rumours said that the actor has walked out of the HanuMan fame Prashanth Varma’s next and they are not working together on the film titled Rakshas. The reports did catch us all off guard and everyone was shocked because it was one of the most anticipated projects. 

Ranveer Singh Is Still In Rakshas

But it turns out that it was probably just a hoax because, if the latest update from the rumour mill is to go by, nothing about Rakshas has fallen off and Ranveer Singh is still very much a part of the film. This new speculation killing the old one comes after the reports of Ranveer walking out of Varma’s directorial have been reported and discussed at length. As per the Hindustan Times report that has been published now, Ranveer Singh has not quit Prashanth Varma's directorial, which is reportedly titled Rakshas yet. Rather, the actor has even begun shooting for the film after the team performed a pooja on Hanuman Jayanthi in Hyderabad. The source said, “It’s absolutely untrue that Prasanth Varma and Ranveer Singh have parted ways due to creative differences in their upcoming film from PCU (Prasanth Cinematic Universe). On the contrary, they even began shooting for the movie in Hyderabad after performing a pooja ceremony on Hanuman Jayanthi.”

It is also said that Ranveer Singh was shooting for Rakshas till last Tuesday and has completed a few portions. As far as the announcement is concerned, it is not happening anytime soon. The source added, "Prasanth even shot for the film till 4 am on Tuesday, and Ranveer has already shot a few portions. There’s time for an official announcement to be made about the project."

The Earlier Rumour

It was being said that Ranveer Singh has walked out of Prashanth Varma's directorial Rakshas after having some creative differences on the project. The two reportedly amicably decided to part ways with a promise that they would be working together in the future. It was being said that the actor now wants to focus on his personal life as he is about to welcome his first child with his wife, Deepika Padukone. But it turns out there is a new report to counter this.

However, Rakshas is said to be a period drama that is set in pre-independence India and will also have a layer of mythology in the story. There are no more details about the movie yet. As for Ranveer, he also has Don 3, Shaktimaan, and director Aditya Dhar’s next film in his kitty.
