Ranveer Singh & Aditya Dhar Visit Golden Temple
The second schedule of the tentatively titled Dhurandar will be filmed in Amritsar. Known as a symbol of spiritual strength for generations, the Golden Temple was a fitting place for the duo to visit before resuming their shoot. The team previously completed an extensive schedule in Bangkok, and this marks the start of the next leg of production. Sharing pictures on Instagram, Ranveer Singh captioned them, “जाको राखे साइयाँ, मार सके न कोय.”
Ranveer Singh To Play A Sikh Man
For the unversed, Dhurandar has been rumored for some time. Featuring R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshaye Khanna alongside Ranveer Singh, it’s both written and directed by Aditya Dhar. According to a new Pinkvilla report, Ranveer is excited to dive into his role as a Sikh man.
"Ranveer is fully charged for this performance-driven action thriller, which revisits significant chapters in the history of R&AW. It’s a character requiring specific diction and presence, which Ranveer has mastered. Several schedules are already complete, and he will resume work after his paternity break,” revealed a source.
About The Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar Film
The film’s script, deeply rooted in the same milieu as Nikhil Advani’s much-discussed 2013 movie D-Day, has impressed its star cast. Ranveer plays an intelligence officer in Dhurandar, though much of the plot remains under wraps. Aditya Dhar is producing the film with his brother Lokesh Dhar under their banner B62 Studios.
Produced by Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios alongside Aditya and Lokesh Dhar, Dhurandar follows their recent successful collaboration on Article 370. The film boasts an impressive cast, including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. With such a powerful ensemble and Dhar’s exceptional storytelling, this project promises to be one of the most anticipated theatrical releases in recent years.
