Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal in a movie that is going to be an intense action saga directed by Aditya Dhar, of URI: The Surgical Strike fame. Yes, you read that right. Ranveer Singh to Lead Aditya Dhar’s Next?

Aditya Dhar, who recently gave us Article 370 as a producer, has been away from the big screen as a director for five long years. His last and first feature film, URI, was a blockbuster, but he still couldn't put together his second feature film. Though he was working on the massively mounted Ashwathama with Vicky Kaushal, the movie did not see the light of day due to alleged budget issues. It turns out his next attempt at shaping his second directorial venture features Ranveer, Madhavan, Rampal, and Dutt together in an action drama.

If a Peepingmoon report is anything to go by, Aditya Dhar has assembled Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt for his next action drama, which is tentatively titled Dhurandhar. It is said that the actors have creatively locked the film and are yet to sign the dotted line. However, the makers are making sure they get through the legalities as fast as they can. While Singh is said to be leading the movie, Dutt, Rampal, and Madhavan have pivotal roles to play in this fast-paced, mission-based action thriller.

Aditya Dhar, as per the same reports, has been working hard to gather a shining ensemble and is elated to have cracked it with one led by Ranveer Singh. The script that has impressed these four stars is rooted in the same milieu as Nikhil Advani’s much-talked-about 2013 film D-Day. Ranveer is set to play an intelligence officer in Dhurandhar, and the rest has been kept nearly under wraps.

Aditya Dhar will be producing Dhurandhar with his brother Lokesh Dhar under their banner B62 Studios. Set on a massive budget, the film is mounted on a large production scale and will be shot in India and overseas. Dhar has reportedly begun pre-production already and aims to start shooting Dhurandhar by the end of 2024, depending on Singh and the other actors’ availability. There is no confirmation from any parties involved as of yet.
