Ranveer Singh has been off the radar for a bit, as he’s been busy shooting his upcoming film with URI: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar. The movie, which is tentatively called Dhurandar, is already generating a lot of buzz nationwide, and it’s easy to see why, especially with its impressive cast. However, details about the film are still under wraps.

While Ranveer is focused on Dhurandar, he’s also looking ahead to his next project once he finishes this period drama. Reports suggest that he’s set to take on a zombie drama directed by Jai Mehta, the son of filmmaker Hansal Mehta.

Is Ranveer Singh set to star in a zombie movie?

In case you didn't know, Ranveer Singh is in the middle of filming for Dhurandar and has already completed a shoot in Amritsar. He’s set to keep working on Aditya Dhar’s project until May 2025. If the gossip is true, he’ll kick off filming for Don 3 with Farhan Akhtar in October 2025.

But according to a report from Pinkvilla, after wrapping up Don 3, Ranveer is gearing up for a zombie drama. The cool part? He won’t just be acting in it; he’ll also be producing the film through his own company, Maa Kasam Films.

Reports indicate that the project is currently in its initial development phase, and Ranveer along with his team will make a final decision once the script is completed. The actor is also playing a significant role in the writing process.

A source involved in the project revealed: “Ranveer Singh will produce the zombie film under his own production company, Maa Kasam Films. It's still being developed, and he will decide on the film once Jai Mehta finalizes the script. At the moment, Ranveer is actively providing his insights during the writing phase and aims to have the script ready by the end of this year.”
