The news turned out to be that Prasanth Varma, in one of his interviews, revealed that the film will go on floors soon. Cut to Hyderabad, Ranveer Singh and Prasanth Varma were spotted at Annapurna Studios shooting for the promo.

The stage was set for a massive announcement, and then, news broke out that the project had been shelved due to differences between Ranveer Singh and Prasanth Varma.
