Rangeen Kahaniyan: Punarjanam plot

The web series claims to delve into Hindu mythology and reincarnation. The story begins with a newly-married couple— Simmi and Suraj. The lives begin to change when Simmi starts to have strange visions in flashbacks from her past life on their first wedding night.

Soon Simmi learns about her past life, and that her older sister just died before her birth due to a snake bite. The boundaries between past and present start to blur, revealing a complex tale of reincarnation and family secrets.

What does the trailer show

The trailer begins with Simmi making her beautiful entry in her new life and house, while following the Hindu rituals that every bride follows. After having a great evening, the husband-wife get ready to have a satisfying night full of love. But suddenly, Simmi starts to have visions about her past life when another woman is having an erotic night with her husband on the same bed where she's lying.

After having several nights of horrifying visions, Simmi confronts her husband that someone is trying to kill her. She begins to search for information about the unknown woman in dreams in their storeroom and gets to know her name is Kavita.

Simmi runs to her parents and asks about Kavita, and they reveal that she was her elder sister, who died. Soon after learning the whole story, Simmi begins to panic as she thinks that her elder sister might be trying to kill her. She starts to think that she's going to die the same way her sister died.
