The excitement for Salman Khan's Kick 2 is definitely on the rise. After Sajid Nadiadwala announced the film last year, fans of Bhaijaan have been eagerly waiting for more news. While it's confirmed that Salman will reprise his role in Kick 2, it appears the filmmakers haven't finalized the supporting cast yet. Randeep Hooda, who had a significant role in the first movie, mentioned that he hasn't received any updates regarding the sequel.

In a conversation with YouTuber Shubankar Mishra, Randeep said, “They keep saying Kick 2 is coming, but I have no idea when. Sajid bhai is usually very involved. He mentioned they would make it, but I haven't received any information. I don’t know if I’ll be part of it or if it’s even happening—he just said they’re considering it. That’s all I know.” 

They keep bringing up Kick 2, but no one has a clue when it will actually be released. Sajid bhai is usually pretty hands-on with these projects. He mentioned he would be working on it, but I haven't heard anything since. I have no idea if I'm involved or if the film is even happening. All I know is that he’s considering it.

For those who might not know, Kick featured Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Randeep Hooda, and it was Sajid Nadiadwala’s first time directing. Released in 2014, the film became one of Khan’s biggest hits and was his first to cross the Rs 200 crore mark. Given its success, it was only a matter of time before the director thought about a sequel, especially with the current trend of sequels and franchises. Randeep and Salman also collaborated on Radhe.

In October 2024, Nadiadwala Grandson shared an impressive photo of Salman Khan on social media, announcing Kick 2 with the caption: “It was a fantastic Kick 2 photo shoot, Sikandar….!!! From Grand, Sajid Nadiadwala.”

Salman Khan is keeping an eye on the box office earnings of his latest big film, Sikandar, which features Rashmika Mandanna alongside him. Unfortunately, the movie's performance has been affected by its leak on piracy websites.

On another note, there’s still no news regarding the release date for Kick 2.
